This is my mock-up entry submission to Lauren Hom’s scholarship for her mural painting course in 2020. I decided to go with a design that would be powerful to be displayed on the side of a building with an inspirational message. Especially in these COVID times, we are hesitant to join together, as we are supposed to be staying apart. My inspiration behind this piece is to not lose our “togetherness” and rise by lifting others, in order for society to come together again.
